Balrum +2 Trainer

Balrum is an interesting mix between old-school RPG mechanics and some modern survival elements, which means that it is not enough to win battles in order to make it to the end. Instead, it's also important to keep an eye on your character's hunger and thirst bars, otherwise you can die without even reaching the tough boss battles. This can be fun in some cases, but the annoyance can exceed the fun factor as well.

To begin with, there are multiple classes to choose for your character, depending on whether you want to be a melee fighter or a spellcaster. Naturally, you approach the game with different mindsets depending on the chosen class, because mages are much more fragile than warriors. There's also crafting, farming and building to keep in mind, each one of which plays a role in your overall success with the campaign.

As for the survival elements, they can be a bit of a bother, especially since they hurry you along most of the time. Thus, you might not have the time to explore most locations before you have to run in order to find food, which can make the adventure a tad tedious. The combat is no walk in the park either, even if you manage to get your hands on a shiny new set of armor.

The trainer at hand can be used to make things easier, since it can be used to capture players or add levels to your character. The latter is obviously incredibly useful, because you can gain experience without having to fight through the actual encounters. Naturally, the cheat can also make the experience a tad boring once the challenge is out of the equation, but then again there's always hunger and thirst to worry about. Note: The trainer is designed to work with the Steam version of Balrum only.
