Age of Gladiators is a unique management game in which you get to lead a team of gladiators in the time of the great Roman Empire, while striving to increase their reputation and earn money from their success. The game is very much like a soccer simulation game, in the sense that it is much deeper than you might think at first. Thus, there are many things to take into consideration while playing and watching your gladiators fight.

To begin with, a lot of the experience is generated randomly every time you start a new game, including the gladiators themselves. They also come with a large number of stats and attributes that are also dynamically generated, so a new adventure awaits you every time. Other than that, the management aspect includes things like training, fighter exchange, and many other events that keep you on edge at all times.

It's also worth mentioning that things progress in terms of time as well, which means that your gladiators get older and may retire over the course of your playthrough. Their prestige is carried on by you, on the other hand, so people all over the kingdom are going to want to see your fighters whenever you are in town, which allows you to sell more tickets.

The trainer at hand allows you to add ages with the simple press of a button, which should make it easier to progress through the game without waiting for a long time. This can obviously ruin the experience if you use it too often, but then again it's entirely up to you when it comes to how much enjoyment you get out of the game.
