Yakuza 5 is coming to Western markets in the fall of this year, and the team at SEGA working on the title is delivering a new interview with the two of the leading developers, which focuses on the inspirations for the character design, the core themes of the game, and the presence of hostess clubs.

Both general director Toshihiro Nagoshi and producer Masayoshi Yokoyama make it clear that they are aiming to keep the coming title as close as possible to the essence of the series.

The video also contains answers to the questions that fans have posed about Yakuza 5.

The world of the new title is bigger than for any previous installment, and gamers will be able to engage in a number of new activities and mini-games in the Adventure Mode.

The transition to combat is also smoother, and gamers will be able to use new modes to take down their enemies with the trademark violence of the series.

The game will pick up the plot after the events of Yakuza 4 and introduces one new character, Tatsuo Shinada, a former baseball player who gambled and got a ban from the sport.

Yakuza 5 can be played on the PlayStation 3.
