The voice actress behind Anya in Wolfenstein: The New Order confirms that she is already working on a sequel for the first-person shooter, although it will take about two more years until it's ready for launch.

The Wolfenstein saga has been around for decades, but in recent years things haven't gone that well for the first-person shooter series.

However, after Bethesda got back the license and tasked Swedish studio MachineGames with making an all-new interpretation in the form of Wolfenstein: The New Order, the franchise entered the mainstream in a big way on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms.

A standalone prequel, called Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, launched earlier this year, setting the stage for the events in the main game, and now it seems that a full-fledged sequel is in development.

The confirmation arrived from Polish actress Alicja Bachleda-Curus, who told TVN, via GamePressure, that she is working on the "second" part of Wolfenstein and that it will take roughly two years to complete.

No other details were shared by the actress, and so far, neither Bethesda nor MachineGames has mentioned anything about a follow-up to The New Order.

It's going to be interesting to see how the story can continue, considering the end of The New Order, or how Anya and the rest of the freedom fighters factor into the plot of the sequel.
