Video game developer Harmonix has promised a big reveal for today and the studio is ready to announce that it is bringing the well-known Panama from Van Halen to the coming Rock Band 4m, which means that even more songs from the band will be included.

The information comes from the official Twitter account of the series, and there's even a short video preview that shows gamers the kind of action that they can expect from the track.

Van Halen is one of the most recognizable bands of the '80s and Panama is one of their biggest hits.

The new Harmonix video game will introduce a wide range of new features, allowing gamers to perform freestyle guitar solos and offering more options to those who play both drums and voice.

Rock Band 4 will be offered on the PlayStation 4 from Sony and the Xbox One from Microsoft on October 6.

Gamers will be able to use the instruments that they already have, but Mad Catz is also introducing an entirely new line that has been updated to cover all the core gameplay of the music simulation.

Harmonix is also allowing players to import all the music that they have previously bought for any other entry in the series.

Activision is also launching Guitar Hero Live this fall to compete with Rock Band 4.
