Konami is making some interesting moves

Konami has revealed today that PES 2016 players will get the upcoming UEFA EURO 2016 content for free, making this a very important milestone for the game.

We don't usually get to see DLCs released for free unless they are coming from CD Projekt, and they are meant for one of the Witcher games, but it looks like other developers and publishers have seen that they can reward users for their loyalty, and not just to test that loyalty by asking for money.

This move is not entirely selfless. The game had some problems with the Data Packs and some missing items, so they had to do something to appease the fans. The Data Packs brought new content for the game, but people were expecting more than what has been provided.

"The company will look to reward those who have continued to support the franchise by offering any forthcoming UEFA EURO 2016 content for free to everyone who owns PES 2016, further proving its commitment to providing the best service for its passionate fanbase," wrote Konami on the official website.

Since the content of the UEFA EURO 2016 update cannot be determined just yet for obvious reasons, players will have to wait a little bit more to find out what's going to be delivered, at least until the start of 2016.

In the meantime, you can check our review of PES 2016 (Xbox One) and see if it's really worth the wait.
