The development team at Harmonix working on Rock Band 4 delivered a full list of the songs included in the coming music title a while ago, but it seems that they have been holding back some surprises for fans.

U2, one of the biggest bands in the world, is, according to an official Twitter message, finally coming to the experience, with gamers able to play the very well-known "I Will Follow" and the more obscure "Cedarwood Road."

The development team might also be working on a future downloadable content pack for Rock Band 4 that could include even more songs from the band.

The coming title is set to arrive on October 6 on the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 from Sony.

Gamers will be able to use the old instruments for the new title, although some of the new features will be disabled for them, and they also have the option of using all the downloadable tracks they bought for previous installments.

Harmonix says that it has developed Rock Band 4 to offer a set of new mechanics for long-term fans while also being accessible for those who are playing a music title for the first time on this generation of consoles.

Rock Band 4 will have to compete with the new Guitar Hero Live that Activision also plans to deliver this year.
