Bethesda has just released two fresh gameplay videos that focus on the companion system in Fallout 4 as well as one of the main allies, Dogmeat. One trailer even depicts the audio capture process, showing how the studio captured barks and sounds from an actual dog.

Fallout 4 arrives in November, and in the last few weeks, a lot of different videos have been showcased by developer Bethesda, detailing the many mechanics that make up the post-apocalyptic role-playing game.

After talking about crafting or shooting, Bethesda now presents two videos about the companions in Fallout 4.

The first one sees Game Director Todd Howard talk a bit about the allies players can have in Fallout 4, focusing more on Dogmeat as well as on Mr. Handy, who were portrayed in previous videos. He also confirms that companions, once recruited, can't die in combat, as at worst they become incapacitated and can be brought back via a Stimpak.

In the second video, you can see how Bethesda used an actual German Shepard dog to create the virtual version of Dogmeat. Capturing the sounds was also a pretty interesting situation, as Bethesda's staff had to walk around the studio with a microphone, chasing the dog during different actions.

Check out the two videos below and look forward to Fallout 4's launch on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 10, worldwide.
