Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain publisher Konami has just released three short but sweet gameplay videos with the upcoming stealth action experience, depicting some of the all-new mechanics, such as reflex mode, jumping to prone, or guard distracting.

Metal Gear Solid V already got its special prolog experience last year, and after quite a bit of waiting, the full-fledged The Phantom Pain title is gearing up for launch on September 1, worldwide, across PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

Until then, the controversial publisher has released a few more gameplay videos with the upcoming title, in order to showcase some of the new mechanics that are added on top of the traditional Metal Gear Solid recipe.

As you can see in the short trailers below, there are new systems like Reflex mode, which slows down time when Snake gets spotted, allowing players to take out a few enemies before things get too hectic. This option can be turned off, however, if you prefer to do things old-school.

There's also the jump to prone system, which allows Snake to lie on the ground as fast as possible, or the guard whistle system, similar to Assassin's Creed, which enables Snake to draw the attention of an enemy and then take the unsuspecting foe out.
