Console owners can finally download the update soon

CD Projekt Red confirms that it's going to launch the long awaited update 1.05 for The Witcher 3 on PS4 and Xbox One platforms today, June 25. No exact timing is known just yet, so expect the patch to become available for download soon.

The Witcher 3 launched on May 19 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Since then, developer CD Projekt Red has released an array of updates and patches designed to solve issues and prevent glitches from affecting fans of the game.

After rolling out a few big updates for the PC platform, patch 1.05 is finally scheduled to launch today, June 25, across the PS4 and Xbox One platforms, according to Community Manager Marcin Momot.

As you can see in the changelog below, quite a few different improvements are going to be part of the update, fixing quests, solving glitches, and making general enhancements to the gameplay and user interface.

Another major update, which takes the game to version 1.07 on PC and 1.06 on PS4 and Xbox One, is promised by CD Projekt Red for an upcoming release, so expect to hear more about it and its improvements soon enough.

Patch 1.05 for The Witcher 3 on PS4 and Xbox One will debut later today via the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live services.
