Capcom confirms that it will no doubt release different costumes as DLC for Street Fighter V after the game's actual launch, possibly including a classic outfit for Ken so that fans who disapprove of the new redesign can still enjoy the fighter.

Street Fighter V was revealed to the world earlier this year and is set to arrive on PC and PS4 platforms in 2016. Developer Capcom has already revealed many different aspects of the game, from its current roster of characters to the stages or even the upcoming beta stage on PS4.

Last week, the Japanese company confirmed that iconic character Ken would be present in Street Fighter V, but with a pretty different design than in previous games.

Boasting longer hair, a new outfit, and a revised fighting style, this new incarnation of Ken has sparked a bit of backlash with longtime fans.

In order to ease their worries, Capcom's Director of Marketing and eSports, Matt Dahlgren, mentions to IGN that classic costumes and outfits will no doubt appear as DLC after Street Fighter V's launch. As such, those who want a classic look for Ken will be able to get it through an add-on eventually.

It's unclear if some costumes will be free while others will come at a price.
