Street Fighter V has just received a brand new character in the form of Arab fighter Rashid. The confirmation isn't official just yet, but a full-fledged gameplay trailer has leaked online, alongside a reveal from Dubai.

Street Fighter V promises to deliver the next evolution in the long-running fighting series made by Japanese company Capcom. The studio has already showcased some of the improved mechanics and all-new features, and in recent months, more and more characters have been presented to fans.

After confirming that Rainbow Mika is part of the Street Fighter V roster, Capcom has revealed during a Dubai event the presence of an all-new character in the form of Rashid.

A leaked video also confirms the existence of the Arab fighter, and even shows off some of his special abilities.

As you can see in the video below, Rashid's outfit is inspired by traditional Arab garments, but he also uses some high-tech gadgets, including a power reader like the one from the Dragon Ball series.

His actual moves are heavily inspired by tornadoes and whirlwinds. He can deploy actual barrages of wind while spinning around rapidly.

You can expect Capcom to officially confirm the presence of Rashid in Street Fighter V in the following days. The actual game is set to make its debut in early 2016 for PC and PS4 platforms.
