Capcom confirms that Street Fighter V is getting two big announcements in the very near future, in the form of a restart date for the game's beta stage in the North and Latin America regions. Another reveal will be made this weekend at PAX Prime, so fans should expect a new character or something else.

Street Fighter V was presented to the world earlier this year, and since then, Capcom has shared not only more details but also plenty of videos and even attempted to organize a beta stage across multiple regions.

Due to technical issues, the beta got suspended and the Japanese company promised to resume testing soon enough.

Now, while talking with fans on Twitter, Street Fighter Producer Yoshinori Ono mentions that two big reveals are coming this week.

First up, a restart date for the Street Fighter V beta in North and Latin America is going to be shared as soon as possible. Like the previous test phase, it will only be available on PS4.

Secondly, at PAX Prime 2015 this weekend, the Japanese company will make a fresh announcement concerning Street Fighter V. It's possible that a new character or some other things might be presented, although Ono isn't sharing any other details.

Street Fighter V is set to make its global debut in 2016 for the PC and PS4 platforms.
