Electronic Arts and DICE have just revealed a full set of details about the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront beta stage, which is set to take place on PC, PS4, and Xbox One in the very near future. The test phase includes a Walker Assault match on Hoth and a Drop Zone encounter on Sullust. Still no release date is provided, however.

Star Wars Battlefront launches this November worldwide, and developer DICE, together with publisher Electronic Arts, has shared an array of information throughout recent months, including videos, screenshots, details about the many modes available in the shooter, and other such things.

Now, after confirming that a public beta would take place across PC, PS4, and Xbox One, the studio provides fresh details on its website.

First up, like the previous PC-exclusive closed alpha, the beta will include the Walker Assault mode on the planet Hoth. However, it will also feature the all-new Drop Zone mode on the surface of Sullust. Those who favor solo encounters or with a friend via cooperative play can enjoy the Tatooine survival mission.

The beta is open to everyone, so fans shouldn't worry about missing out on the test phase of the upcoming shooter.

The team at DICE is still working on the finishing touches, so expect a release date for the Battlefront beta soon enough.
