14 DAY TRIAL // The team at Activision in charge of the coming SuperChargers expansion for Skylanders is announcing that it will deliver a special version of the game, called the Dark Edition, designed for those players who want to embrace their evil side.
The version of the title will include the normal starter pack as well as the Dark Spitfire character and the Dark Hot Streak vehicle that he uses.
The Skylanders SuperChargers Dark Edition will also deliver a two-sided collector's poster and a kaos Trophy, which will unlock content.
On the PlayStation 4 and the PS3 gamers will also receive a Dark Super Shot Stealth Elf and Dark Sea Shadow water vehicle.
For the Wii U versions of the Donkey Kong and Bowser toys and vehicles are added to the Skylanders SuperChargers Dark Edition.
The coming expansion is built to focus on vehicles and will offer players a new set of mechanics and more character to go on an adventure with.
Skylanders faces a lot of competition in the toy video game space, mainly from the Disney Infinity experience, which this year adds a range of characters focused on Star Wars.
Warner Bros. is also targeting the genre with the launch of the new LEGO Dimensions, which will draw on the wide range of sets from the company.
