Ubisoft promises more access codes in the near future

Ubisoft confirms that it's decided to extend the ongoing closed beta period for Rainbow Six Siege until October 1, and that it's using more ways of delivering access codes to those who are entitled to getting them, either by pre-ordering or through different contests.

The Rainbow Six Siege experience was revealed by Ubisoft some time ago as an intense, competitive multiplayer shooter experience, in which the Rainbow Six counter-terrorism team must raid a building in which terrorists hold several people hostage.

Through sharp tactics and synchronized maneuvers, the Rainbow team must ensure they get the hostages alive, while the terrorists are tasked with setting up their defenses in such a way that they survive the siege.

Already a few test phases have taken place for the game, and one day ago a new closed beta kicked off, with a suite of enhancements over previous trials.

Seeing as how the feedback is good and the servers are withstanding the rush of players, Ubisoft confirms on Reddit that it's extending the closed beta for Rainbow Six Siege until October 1.

What's more, those who have still not received an access code should look forward to new messages, as Ubisoft is testing new methods of delivering their invitations. They're also reminded to check the Spam section of their emails, as the message might also have wound up there.
