The trailer is done with the in-game engine

The famous Quantic Dream gaming studio, known for games like Heavy Rain or Beyond: Two Souls, has revealed during the Paris Game Week event their new game called Detroit: Become Human.

Some gamers are bound to notice how Detroit keeps appearing in Sci-Fi games and how it's also somehow a hub of future technology. The game I'm talking about is Deus Ex: Human Revolution and it also starts in Detroit. Now that we've got the obvious issues out of the way, let's see what we know about Detroit: Become Human. The answer is not much.

The video posted below is made in the game engine, but that shouldn’t really surprise anyone since the studio that's making it is Quantic Dream and they’ve always been able to push the PlayStation consoles to their full potential. As usual, the game is not about the action, it's about the story. In this case, it's about an android named Kara, who seems to have awaken to self-consciousness.

It's also quite possible that some of you will also remember a technology demo that was presented all the way back in 2012, featuring an android named Kara, who was just assembled. Part of that demo is also present in today's trailer, and it looks like Detroit: Become Human is a continuation of that story line.

Nothing else is known about it, and that includes any hint at the launch date. Enjoy!
