Blizzard has revealed the launch date by mistake

Blizzard has inadvertently revealed that Overwatch is coming to PCs, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on June 21, 2016, or after that date.

Blizzard is looking to get another major title on the market, and the studio is working on a new team-based game called Overwatch. These are some very strange times in the gaming community, and it looks like everyone now wants to make a multiplayer game.

In any case, Overwatch was not long ago in a closed Beta, and we got to play it. It’s not bad, but it’s now amazing either, and I think that Blizzard knows this. The road from a Beta to a final version is not that long, but there is still quite some time left until June.

Blizzard is about to start the new Blizzcon 2015 event, and they will likely announce it in a more official manner in just a few hours, but someone with a happy trigger finger posted an add on the official website with details about the launch, before the start of the event.

What the gaming community didn’t know until now was that both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are also targeted. The Overwatch: Origins Edition will probably be available for pre-purchase starting tomorrow or sometime next week.

The ad for Overwatch was quickly pulled from the website, but it was too late, and a lot of people managed to grab it.
