Just Cause 3 will have to deliver an even wilder set of gameplay mechanics than its predecessor and the development team at Avalanche Games gives fans a look at how it was created in a new developer diary.

The footage features members of the studio talking about the influence the titles in the franchise had on gamers and the expectations that they have created.

Just Cause 3 has been carefully constructed by the team to offer multiple opportunities for gamers to deploy the new gameplay mechanics and get unique experiences.

The game world will not be bigger than in the previous release, but the developers have increased the verticality of it all, which means gamers will have more options to attack enemies from above and to sneak around them before launching their favorite moves.

Both the parachute and the grappling hook are back with improved mechanics and gamers will also be able to deploy a new wingsuit in order to move faster across the skies.

The story of the game is focused on Medici, the island where Rico was born, which needs to be liberated from the hands on a powerful dictator that has plans to extend his influence across the Mediterranean.

Just Cause 3 will be launched on December 1 and can be played on the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and the PC.
