The 3DS platform continues its long-term run at the top of the Japanese hardware sales chart, managing to deliver 26,971 units to gamers during a week, which is a decrease when compared to both the previous tracked period and the same moment in 2014.

The PlayStation 4 has seen a boost and has managed to deliver 24,266 devices to its own fans during the same period, a big increase when compared to the 15,779 of the previous week, according to data from Media Create quoted by NeoGAF.

The last position on the podium is occupied by the Vita handheld, which is losing Steam, as it has reached just 13,808 units sold.

The Wii U home console from Nintendo has managed to sell a little over 11,000 units, and the older PS3 is still ahead of the Xbox One, which sits on 242.
