Video game developer Runic Games is announcing that it is working on a new video game project called Hob, which is set to be launched on both the PC and home consoles, offering a new universe for players to explore.

The game takes place on a world that's both beautiful and filled with danger and those who explore it will have to uncover mysteries and deal with complex situations that can be solved by their skills and by careful thinking.

The official site states, "Hob is presented without text or dialogue. Narrative is revealed as players explore and interact with their mysterious planet, and the strange life forms that inhabit it. Hob features smooth controller gameplay, multi-layered puzzles, and striking visuals."

Runic Games is offering a teaser trailer and some images taken from Hob at the moment, and they show an interesting world that many gamers will be happy to explore.

The idea to eliminate text from the experience altogether is a brave one that few titles have pulled off before, and it will need to be balanced by the gameplay mechanics of the new title.

Those who attend the coming PAX event at the end of August will be able to get an early look at the new Runic Games title.

At the moment, Hob does not have a launch windows but it will probably be offered at some point in 2016.
