The first of the three major live stream presentations of Destiny's upcoming The Taken King expansion is set to kick off later today, August 19, at 2pm ET (11am PT, 7pm BST, 8pm CET). A special teaser video is also available right now, to get fans hyped up.

Destiny is set to receive its third and biggest expansion yet next month, in the form of The Taken King. While at first the DLC was at the center of a controversy, as it requires players to own the last two add-ons, Bungie has offered more and more details to show just why it's worth the monetary investment.

After sharing plenty of fresh information in the last couple of months, Bungie confirmed last week that it's kicking off a series of three live stream presentations, in which its developers will show off the major features of the upcoming expansion.

Now, after a bit of waiting, the first video presentation is set to begin later today, August 19, at 11am PT (2pm ET, 7pm BST, 8pm CET) on the Bungie Twitch channel, which you can find embedded below.

What's more, a special teaser video has also been shared by Bungie, offering brief glimpses at the different things that will be discussed by its team during the three different streamed presentations.
