FIFA 16 has just received a fresh gameplay video depicting the many different direct gameplay improvements made by Electronic Arts' Sports division for the new soccer simulator, innovating in terms of defense, attack, or midfield control.

FIFA 16 is set to be one of the most innovative iterations in the series yet, as not only does it add for the first time ever women's national teams but it also brings a suite of enhancements to the core gameplay mechanics.

In order to really showcase the innovation its team has implemented in FIFA 16, EA Sports has just presented a fresh gameplay video.

As you can see in the footage below, FIFA 16 brings improvements across the pitch, boasting not only better AI behavior for defenders or goalkeepers but also smoother controls when it comes to the midfield and, of course, the attack.

Better interceptions, smoother and more precise passing, as well as dynamic crossing will result in some "moments of magic," according to EA Sports.

You can also spot sequences from the performance capture process, showing not just actors but also actual soccer players like cover star and FC Barcelona striker Lionel Messi.

FIFA 16 launches this September across PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and many other platforms.
