Gamers can carefully customize their character

Fallout 4 is one of the most interesting launches of the year and the development team at Bethesda is slowly offering more information on the various tweaks it is making to the core features of the open world and post-apocalyptic formula.

In a new video from IGN, the company explains that all specials for a character will be chosen at the start of a campaign, and a new perk can be selected every time the player gains a new level.

Since Bethesda does not want to place a cap, that basically means that, as long as they grind for a long enough period, gamers can create a character that has all the perks included in Fallout 4.

The development team has not said how many possible choices are offered in the game and whether there are some that lock out other potential development paths.

The system sounds interesting, and Bethesda also says that it wants to allow gamers to create builds that stand out from the crowd and develop unique playstyles.

The new open-world title will take place in the area around Boston and Bethesda is saying that all the core mechanics are being upgraded, with a host of new options linked to both building and crafting.

Fallout 4 will be launched on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 on November 10 of this year.
