Bethesda has just released two new videos with its upcoming Fallout 4 post-apocalyptic role-playing game, showcasing some already-seen gameplay footage while throwing in commentary from Game Director Todd Howard.

Fallout 4 was revealed to the world at the beginning of June, and shortly afterwards, Bethesda held its E3 2015 press conference, where it showcased a huge number of things to fans about the role-playing experience.

Since then, more and more details have been confirmed, while Bethesda is focusing on completing the title ahead of its intended release in November.

Now, the studio has just rolled out two fresh videos recorded at E3 2015, where Game Director Todd Howard talked about the freedom offered to players, not to mention actual mechanics like shooting, customization, crafting, or modding.

Among the interesting tidbits presented is the fact that Bethesda went to its id Software studio, the team behind hits like Doom, for tips on how to make polished shooter mechanics.

The studio also decided that, since the world of Fallout includes a huge number of objects, the crafting mechanic now lets players break them down into simple components and then use them to modify their existing weapons or even the huge power armor they can get to use.

This new system also prevents players from gathering everything and then selling it to vendors, often resulting in a broken economy. Check out the videos below.
