The game is on track for a November launch

Bethesda is gearing up for the Fallout 4 launch, and they reached two important milestones; the game has gone gold, and the Fallout beer is available in stores.

There comes a time when you really need to release a new game with its own brand of beer. In this case (pun intended), Bethesda chose to enter a partnership with Carlsberg UK so that they can ship Fallout beer just before the launch of the game, on November 5.

"Fallout BEER is a 4% alcohol by volume (ABV) pilsner lager, with a refreshing zesty hoppy taste and a floral aroma, sold in a 330ml bottle format and sold only to customers aged 18 and over." For now, the Fallout beer can only be bought from Amazon.co.uk and it doesn't look like it's going to be available for other territories as well.

The interesting thing is that the publishers have finally understood that a large part of the gamers who will buy Fallout 4 are mature enough to drink and to order their own stuff. It a huge step forward for an industry that still makes toys with new game releases.

Also, it's worth pointing out that Fallout 4 has gone gold, which means that the development has been officially completed. The game is expected to arrive on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on November 11.
