The new RPG doesn't force players to quit

Bethesda confirms that Fallout 4 won't end with the main story and that there is no level cap, meaning players can continue to accumulate experience and level up for as long as they want.

Fallout 4 may have received all sorts of different details at E3 2015 in June and QuakeCon in July, but Bethesda has also brought the post-apocalyptic role-playing experience to Gamescom 2015 this week, allowing fans to try it out ahead of its launch this fall.

In order to clear up any misconceptions about the new title, Bethesda now confirms on Twitter that Fallout 4's end-game approach is similar to previous titles.

This means that once the story is finished, players can still enjoy the game and progress their skills by leveling up indefinitely, as there is no level cap, apparently.

As such, players shouldn't worry about missing out on things or completing every single quest before tackling the main storyline. It's unclear if some missions will be automatically resolved by progressing through the plot, although previous titles did have some situations in which players were locked out from some activities due to certain choices.

Expect to hear Bethesda offer more details as we approach Fallout 4's debut on November 10, worldwide, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
