Gamers will get a more guided initial expereince

Video game developer BioWare is announcing that it is adding a new mode called Proving Ground to the multiplayer side of Dragon Age: Inquisition, designed to offer a more guided experience that will give newcomers a clear look at the core mechanics.

The studio is saying in the official announcement that Artificial Intelligence controlled companions will be accompanying players on their first mission, which also has a reduced difficulty level in order to make sure that the core features as clearly explained.

BioWare adds, "Do you laugh in the face of peril? Can you defeat a dragon solo without suffering a single scratch? Well, we’ve got a test for you, fearless agent of the Inquisition: Nightmare Difficulty."

The Proving Grounds in Dragon Age: Inquisition is only offered to those who have the most recent patch for the game.

BioWare has recently announced that new dragon-themed decorations for Skyhold are offered to all those who can defeat one of the beasts in the multiplayer mode.

The company is also saying that future downloadable content for the single player story will no longer be offered on older home consoles and has revealed a save transfer tool that will be added in the July patch for Dragon Age: Inquisition.
