Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will soon deliver a multiplayer-focused beta period for a relatively big group of players, and developer Treyarch are trying to make sure that those who will play the shooter have the details they need about the modes, maps and the Specialists they can use.

A recent set of videos from the official Twitter channel offers a little more background on the unique weapons and powers of the various characters that players can test drive.

Treyarch is adding them in order to make it easier for newcomers to jump into the shooter without having to worry too much about how they want to customize their avatar.

The studio says that it will analyze data gathered in the testing phase and feedback coming from those who take part to improve the mechanics of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 before it is officially launched in the fall.

The beta for the shooter will be first offered on the Sony home consoles, starting on August 19 and gamers will be able to get it after one week on the PC and current gen consoles created by Microsoft.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be out on November 6 on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 and gamers can also get it on older home consoles.
