Video game developer DICE and publisher Electronic Arts are delivering a new cinematic trailer for the coming Night Operations downloadable content for Battlefield 4, offering players a look at the changes that are coming to the first-person shooter.

The Zavod: Graveyard Shift map is shown in more detail and gamers can see how the darkness will give gamers a wide range of tactical options.

DICE states, "When the map is shrouded in darkness the gameplay shifts and provides a tactical advantage to the players that utilize scopes for night vision and thermal imaging or use gadgets that reveal the enemy position when the visibility is impaired."

Battlefield 4 is no longer the top priority for the team at DICE, but the studio is interested in keeping the shooter engaging, and it seems that it has long-term plans to deliver both new content and patches that fix gameplay and better balance the weapons.

Night Operations for Battlefield 4 will be launched in September, but it seems that DICE has not yet settled on an official date.

During the same month, Visceral Games is also offering the Robbery DLC for Battlefield: Hardline, which will introduce four new maps, a game mode and other cosmetic tweaks.

A new Battlefield game is already slated to arrive in 2016, although no details about it have been offered by DICE or Electronic Arts.
