The first gameplay trailer for the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight DLC, the Batgirl: A Matter of Family add-on, has just arrived, depicting some intense action from the prequel story expansion.

Batman: Arkham Knight launched last month across PC, PS4, and Xbox One. While its debut was weighed down by serious issues on PC, prompting the suspension of all sales, Warner Bros. is sticking true to its DLC release schedule.

As such, the first proper add-on for the game, the Batgirl: A Matter of Family prequel DLC, is set to arrive later this month.

After having shared different gameplay details in the last few days, Warner Bros. has just released the first actual gameplay video from the new expansion.

As you can see in the footage below, Batgirl is joined by Robin to help rescue her father, Commissioner Gordon, as well as other Gotham City Police Department officers from Joker and Harley Quinn.

Besides battling against dozens of henchmen, the video also depicts the infamous villain and Harley Quinn in her classic costume. You can also spot the new hacking mechanic employed by Batgirl to sabotage different things, and a few other tricks.

The Batgirl DLC launches for Arkham Knight Season Pass owners on July 14. The rest of the community can get it on July 21.
