Video game publisher 505 Games has announced that it has entered into a partnership with adidas, the sports company, in order to publish the much-delayed adidas miCoach console video game, which is set to arrive during the summer of this year on the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and the PlayStation 3 from Sony.

The new game allows athletes, regardless of age or level, to design and then execute training plans linked to their preferred sport, tracking their progress and receiving progress during the process.

The two companies say that adidas miCoach is designed to be more technical and sports-focused than its competitors.

The game will support both the PlayStation Move from Sony and the Kinect from Microsoft and includes more than 400 exercises and a number of sports heroes for the player to train with.

Simon Drabble, the director of the miCoach business unit at adidas, stated, “We are very excited to be bringing the miCoach console game to market. Training alongside your own heroes is a fun and engaging way to get better for your sport or simply help you reach your fitness goals.”
