The in-game live calorie burn counter encourages people to share their achievements

Majesco Entertainment Company has announced that since the introduction of their real-time calorie burn counter for Zumba Fitness World Party at New Year, its users collectively burned over 25 million calories.

Majesco is the publisher of the Zumba Fitness franchise of video games, a series that sold over 10 million copies all around the world, and is now encouraging its users to share their calorie burn with the rest of the active world through the real-time in-game counter.

The global calorie burn counter can be found on the Zumba Fitness World Party website, where players can see their own contribution increasing the ever-growing number.

Free playable demos for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 Kinect are available in order for players to try out the experience, featuring two popular songs from Lady Gaga and Daddy Yankee and high-energy choreography.

Zumba Fitness World Party includes a fitness journey through exotic destinations, with over 40 intensive routines and more than 30 international dance styles, making for an effective at-home fun workout, featuring a world-class soundtrack and celebrity instructors.
