Majesco has managed to make money from exercise gaming

Video game publisher Majesco has announced that the Zumba Fitness franchise has become the fastest selling product in the catalog of the company, with the two released games now over 6 million units in sales.

Jesse Sutton, who is the Chief Executive Officer at Majesco, has stated in a financial results document that the original release of Zumba Fitness has managed to move more than 4 million units to gamers during its first 12 months on retail shelves.

It has also managed to take the title of number one fitness game in both the United States and the United Kindom.

Zumba Fitness 2 has been launched in November 2011 and has since then managed to sell more than 1 million copies all over the world.

Majesco has posted revenue of 25.1 million dollars (19.5 million Euro) for the fourth quarter of 2011, which is an increase of about 8 percent when compared to the same period of 2010.
