The development teams at Omega Force and Team Ninja announce that the upcoming Hyrule Warriors will include Agitha, a character from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, as a playable character.

The company has pledged to offer a diverse cast of characters that gamers will be able to use and take out hordes of enemies using the core gameplay mechanics of the title, which are modelled on those of the Dynasty Warriors franchise.

The full roster is expected to be about ten characters big and the Agitha reveal was offered via an article in the Japanese magazine Famitsu that was translated by CVG.

Gamers will also be able to control Link, which has been the star of two trailers already, Princess Zelda and Midna.

Hyrule Warriors will include a two-player mode, which will allow one gamer to control Impa.

Apparently, Zank and Argorock will also be included in Hyrule Warriors, although they are not playable.

Agitha is a young girl and the princess of the insect kingdom, which means that her set of weapons and powers might be linked to that theme.

Hyrule Warriors is a Wii U exclusive and will be delivered to Japanese gamers in the middle of August, before it launches on September 19 in Europe and on September 26 in North America.
