This weekend, CD Projekt RED is offering all the games currently available in The Witcher franchise discounted on Steam.

The promotion comes right before the launch of the third and final installment in Geralt of Rivia's saga, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, scheduled to drop on May 19, headed to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The Steam weekend sale brings The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition at 85 percent off, allowing those who missed them to catch up on the white haired monster hunter's exploits ahead of The Witcher 3.

The prices are ridiculously low, and the two action role-playing games are definitely worth a shot, in case you haven't yet played them.

In addition to this, CD Projekt RED's spin-off title The Witcher Adventure Game, the digital adaptation of the actual board game set in the universe created by Polish writer Andrjez Sapkowski, is also offered at a 50 percent discount.

You can find the opening trailer for The Witcher 2 below, followed by The Witcher 3's first cinematic trailer, showing the impressive evolution of the series and CG technology. A feature film would be neat, right? Well, Oscar-nominated director Tomasz Baginski is working on one right now.
