Publisher Tecmo Koei has released another trailer for the upcoming hack-and-slash title Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, this time showing off the cyborg ninja's combat prowess.

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is the result of the collaboration between Comcept, Team Ninja and Spark Unlimited, offering a mix of both Western and Japanese game development concepts, lightning-fast combat and comic-inspired cel-shaded visuals.

Players will take control of the revived ninja, taking advantage of his newly-found cyborg-enhancements in his unstoppable quest for revenge. Yaiba will venture into a fallen world, overrun with hordes of the undead, and will mercilessly slaughter throngs of zombies.

The stylized comic-world allowed the creators to experiment and saw the introduction of a lot of surprising and over-the-top elements, from costumes to enemies and weapons.

The new trailer illustrates a lot of the crazy action in the upcoming release, including a two-headed zombie toddler giant whose shoulder blade players will be able to use as a weapon.

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is currently scheduled for release on March 18 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms.
