Microsoft's Phil Harrison has talked a bit about the recent reports concerning the Xbox One's eSRAM and how its small size prevents games from running natively at 1080p and 60fps, dismissing such a claim by emphasizing the performance of Forza Motorsport 5 or Kinect Sports Rivals.

Ever since the release of the PS4 and Xbox One, multi-platform titles and even some exclusive Xbox One releases haven't been able to run at the gold standard, 1080p and 60fps, as some sacrificed resolution, framerate, or both.

These issues were pinned on the Xbox One eSRAM by Sniper Elite 3 developer Rebellion, but Microsoft's Phil Harrison mentioned on Twitter that this wasn't the case.

Harrison brings into question games like Forza Motorsport 5 or Kinect Sports Rivals, which both run at 1080p and 60fps.

Even so, those are just two titles that hit the gold standard, while many, including Titanfall, at least in beta, are running at lower resolutions.
