A new rumor suggests that Microsoft is getting ready to launch a white version of the Xbox One in October of this year and is also exploring the possibility of delivering a disk-free gaming platform later as long as there’s clear demand.

The information appeared on NeoGAF and it seems that the white hardware will include 1 TB hard drive.

The version of the Xbox One has previously only been offered to Microsoft employees, but it seems that the company is now willing to bring it to the general public.

The rumored disk-free device will come complete with a Bluetooth adapter and currently has no launch window and is set to cost just 399 dollars or Euro.

It’s not clear whether Microsoft is also planning to deliver bundles featuring the new platforms in order to make them more attractive to potential buyers.

In 2014, the Xbox One is also set to launch in a new range of countries and there are plans to deliver firmware updates to improve its performance.
