Microsoft is continuing its effort to showcase the various elements of the new Xbox One home console with a video that focuses on the new controller and the many improvements it will make to a gamer's experience.

Larry Hryb, the community manager of the Xbox division known as Major Nelson, and General Manager Zulfi Alam are featured as they have a conversation about the development process for the device and its features.

The Xbox One GamePad will offer haptic feedback, a design set to offer improved comfort and advanced rumble motors for feedback.

The USB input on the back can be used to play a wired controller.

Microsoft says the new peripheral has 20 times the bandwidth of the one used by the Xbox 360, which significantly reduces latency.

IR LEDs combined with Kinect allow the home console to know who exactly is holding the controller.

The Xbox One will be launched in November.
