The team at Microsoft in charge of the Xbox One announces that a Stereo Headset for the home console will be launched in the near future and will allow gamers to have a superior audio experience on the device.

On the official Larry Hryb blog, the company explains that, “The Stereo Headset pairs a premium, full-range (20Hz – 20kHz) audio experience with a unidirectional microphone taking advantage of Xbox One’s Skype-powered chat audio codec.”

The retail package, which will cost 79.99 dollars or Euro, will also include audio controls that the player can quickly access and the headset is powered directly through the wireless controller of the Xbox One.

Microsoft is also offering an official Stereo Headset Adapter, sold separately, for all those who already have a pair of favorite headphones and are not interested in abandoning them for the new Microsoft product.

The Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter will be offered for 24.99 dollars or Euro.
