The development team at Microsoft working on the new ScreamRide is ready to offer more details about the title in a new trailer which shows the tools that gamers can use in order to build their rollercoasters and the effects that the gravity-daring designs can have on those who ride them.

The footage features information delivered by Jorg Neumann, executive producer, who explains how the power of the new console gave his team the resources to create a game that looks impressive and features of lot of simulation mechanics under the hood.

ScreamRide is set to be launched exclusively on the Xbox One during the spring of next year, and it’s likely that the title will only be offered via digital distribution.

The problem with the title at the moment is that it’s not clear whether it aims to offer a sequel inspired by Rollercoaster Tycoon or whether it wants to focus on destruction and on hilarious effects placed on those who ride them.

More details on ScreamRide will be delivered during the winter months.

Microsoft has pledged to launch more casual titles for the Xbox One since the console was first introduced in November of last year, mainly in order to make sure that gamers have enough content to experience in the lulls between major AAA titles.
