A brand new report concerning the Party chat improvements that have been announced by Microsoft yesterday appeared online, claiming that the company would completely replace the system and that it might take it up to a year to do so.

The Xbox One came out last month and, while most new owners are pretty pleased with the console, there are some disturbing elements that have caused heated debates online.

Among them is the party chat system that allows players to engage in voice chat sessions across games, in theory, but it doesn't actually work as intended in practice, due to certain issues.

Microsoft revealed yesterday that changes were coming to the party chat system, but it didn't say when they would be implemented.

According to a new report from DoddScientifics, the changes will actually overhaul the whole party chat system and will require a lot of work and time. As a result, the new update won't appear anytime soon, as the website speculates that it will take Microsoft up to a year to create the new solution.
