Microsoft has fixed the different issues encountered by new Xbox One owners when taking their consoles online, and confirmed that it was investigating the offline periods experienced by its Live service.

The Xbox One is currently being released in 13 countries around the world and, as with most big launches, many new owners took their consoles online to connect to the Live service and download the necessary day-one system firmware update.

Unfortunately for quite a few of these new owners, they were unable to access the Live online service due to different outages around the world.

Microsoft has confirmed to GamesIndustry that it's fixed these issues and that it's investigating the problems that surfaced in the last few hours.

"Microsoft can confirm that all online services have been restored. We are investigating the root cause of the disruption and will continue to keep customers updated as information becomes available," the company said.

As of yet, it seems that the Xbox Live online service is handling the rush of new Xbox One owners.
