Microsoft has confirmed that independent developers who make games for the Xbox One will have access to all of the console's resources and won't be limited to lower RAM or other such things.

Independent game developers were delighted to hear that Microsoft had raised the restrictions imposed on them with the upcoming Xbox One, revealing that they can self-publish their titles on the next-gen console.

While answering questions on Twitter about the new policies, Microsoft's Phil Spencer has confirmed that the company wants to allow independent developers access to all of the console's pool of resources, meaning it won't be limited to a certain amount of RAM or other such things.

As of yet, however, things haven't been nailed down, so Microsoft is still planning on making more announcements soon.
