The development team at Microsoft says that the video clips that gamers can capture on the Xbox One when the new console launches can only be shared on the Live service, which limits their potential audience at first.

The company is making sure that YouTube and Facebook sharing will be offered in 2014 and it is not yet clear whether games will need new apps in order to deliver their created content.

The Upload Studio on the Xbox One can capture the last 30 seconds of buffered frames from any game after the player issues a vocal command. A clip will be created using a 720p resolution and a frame rate of 30 and it can be shared with members of Live, according to Destructoid.

Albert Penella, one of the executives leading the launch process at Microsoft, says that his team wants to make content sharing one of the main features of the new device in order to create a solid community of players around all the launched titles.
