Microsoft has just released a brand new Xbox 360 system software update, which takes the console’s dashboard to version 2.0.15574.0, but already problems have been encountered by players who use wireless steering wheels.

The Xbox 360 is set to receive quite a few new features this fall, so Microsoft has just released a system software update that makes improvements in anticipation of their release.

Now, after the software update has been revealed to the general public, players have begun reporting that their wireless steering wheels, both official ones from Microsoft and from third-party manufacturers, are on longer working.

Microsoft has been made aware of the issue and has confirmed to CVG that it’s “actively working to resolve this as soon as possible and appreciate your patience."

The software update also causes third-party controllers from Datel to stop working and the company has already set up a page to help consumers upgrade their devices.
