It seems that one of Microsoft’s big E3 2012 announcements has been leaked ahead of schedule by Walmart, which released a new ad that presents a price cut for the Xbox 360.

The Xbox 360 has been experiencing strong sales, but this doesn’t mean that Microsoft doesn’t want to attract more customers to its home console.

As such, many analysts have predicted that the company will reveal a price cut for the console at E3 2012 later today.

Ahead of Microsoft’s press conference, however, Walmart released a new brochure, via NeoGAF, which makes a price cut to the 4GB Xbox 360 with Kinect bundle from $299 (around €240) to $269 (€216), while the standalone Xbox 360 console with a 4GB hard drive went from $199 (€160) to $169 (€136).

It could be just a regular sale on behalf of Walmart, but it’s quite likely that Microsoft will reveal a price cut later today at its E3 2012 press conference.
