14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Firaxis is ready to deliver a new trailer for its upcoming Enemy Within expansion for XCOM: Enemy Unknown, called Security Breach, showing off one of the new threats that gamers will have to deal with.
The team states, "A rogue organization, known as EXALT, is threatening to undermine XCOM operations by acquiring alien technology for their own use. You will need to send in covert operatives to track down the source of this new threat and eliminate it."
The expansion is set to introduce a number of new development opportunities for player-controlled soldiers, including the ability to modify their genetic makeup and augment them with mech suits.
At the same time, the enemy forces are also more capable and can deploy the impressive new Mechtoid.
Enemy Within for XCOM: Enemy Unknown will be out in the middle of November and can be played on the PC, the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.
