Bossa Studios has released a brand new video offering an overview of its upcoming adventure game Worlds Adrift.

The studio is better known for the gimmicky and quirky Surgeon Simulator and I Am Bread, but now it looks like the members are trying their hand at something a little more traditional. Bossa has just announced that Surgeon Simulator has sold over 2 million copies since launch, so it seems that the devs know how to make their games popular.

Their upcoming game is currently very early in development, so not much is known about it. The team has revealed that the main character will be equipped with a multi-purpose tool that allows players to harvest, repair, craft, and swing around the environment.

A big part of the game is its atmosphere, conveyed through flat colors and a low-poly aesthetic, as well as soft lighting, making the game look like an illustration.

The video shows some footage from an early build of Worlds Adrift, featuring narration from Game Producer Herb Liu. The game features a dynamic day and night cycle, and offers different gameplay opportunities depending on the time of day.
